We organize a variety of activities every two weeks for children of all age groups, including the whole family. Activities vary and may also be proposed by volunteers. Check out some examples below.
Arts and crafts
We organize arts and crafts workshops that encourage creativity and cultural connection.
Movement
Movement-based activities help stimulate children’s development. Yoga, capoeira, sports, etc.
Music and dance
Two pillars of Brazilian culture, music and dance are present in performances and workshops.
Talks
Talks on various topics relevant to the community provide support for the whole family.
Theater and puppetry
Theater and puppet performances and workshops also help stimulate language and cultural connection.
Special dates
We celebrate special occasions such as Easter, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Folklore Day, etc.
Storytelling
Storytelling encourages not only language learning, but also children’s imagination.
Reading
Reading gatherings for all ages and Portuguese levels take place in our library.
